The Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, Chui Sai On visited Guangdong Province on 17 February to reinforce cooperation in tourism between the two territories.

Mr. Chui and a 24-member delegations will visit Guangzhou, Zhaoqing and Shenzhen in the four-day visit, during which they will visit several tourist spots in the three cities.

The objective of this tour is to review the works done in past year and to discuss cooperation in 2003, such as using tourism resourses of the Pearl River Delta and promoting regional tourism.

Mr. Chui will also meet the high rank officials from tourism sectors of the three cities respectively, to exchange opinions and to discuss the projects for Guangdong-Macao tourism.

Members of the delegation include the Director of MGTO, João Costa Antunes , the President of IFT, Fanny Vong, Deputy Director of MGTO, Helena de Senna Fernandes, etc.

The delegation will return to Macao on 20 February.
