The Human Resources Development Council and the Observatory for Public Administration of Macao were today (2 September) established. The Council is accounted for research and consultancy activities on human resource management and the Observatory for modernization and reform processes in public administration policies.
The Chief Executive will preside over the Council and the Secretary for Justice and Administration will oversee the Observatory.
The Council's services include providing technical assistance for professional training and labor policy, human resources management and quality, as well as providing practical strategies, approaches, and tools for managing today's human capital challenges.
Services provided by the Observatory include evaluating human resource management systems and issues, identifying the best practices and lessons learned, modernizing and reforming processes in public administration, and researching and consulting work to meet the current and future needs of civil service reform and renewal.
