At the invitation of the Commissioner of Audit, Fatima Choi, a delegation led by the General Auditor of the Auditing Administration of China, Li Jinhua, started a three-day visit to Macao on 1 July.

In Macao, the delegation had meetings with the Chief Executive, Edmond Ho, and representatives of the Commission of Audit.

General Auditor Li Jinhua praised the high level of national and regional cooperation in this field, adding that he hoped it would improve further in line with economic development.

Commissioner of Audit Fatima Choi welcomed Li Jinhua and members of the delegation on their first visit to Macao and thanked the Auditing Administration of China for their support of the SAR by providing opportunities for the auditing staff to train and participate in seminars.

Aside from meetings with MSAR officials and a visit to the Commission of Audit installations, the delegation visited some tourist places before departing for Hong Kong.
