Accompanied by the Chief Executive, Edmund Ho, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Mr. Li Peng visited today (16 Feb) the Ruins of St. Paul Church, the Macao Museum and Monte Fort (Fortress Hill).
Mr. Li Peng was also accompanied by the Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, State Council, Mr. Liao Hui, Deputy Secretary General of the NPC Standing Committee, Mr. Lü/; Congmin, Chief of Cabinet of the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Wu Wen Chang.
During his visit, Mr. Li Peng listened to the briefings of accompanying MSAR officials and visited the Exhibition of "Macau during the Sino-Japanese War" held in the Museum.
Mr. Li Peng and Mrs. Li was greeted by residents and tourists on the Monte Fort. They also talked with a group of children practicing sketches on the Monte Fort and took a group photo with them.
Mr. Li Pang signed on the signature book at the Macao Museum before leaving the Museum.
