Macao is full of energy as the city passionately celebrates the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Bustling Senado Square is adorned with a magnificent sea of the country’s flags, to mark National Day.

The gesture recognises the strong support from the Central Government for Macao's work in promoting the construction of the Guangdong-Macao Intensive Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.

National Day celebrations are not only in red, but also take a ‘green’ form, telling the successful story of the People’s Republic of China since its founding 75 years ago.

The large “dual celebrations” poster at the Macao Science Center marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of the Macao Special Administrative Region. The poster offers the opportunity for children approaching the Macao Science Center – in their search for scientific knowledge – to understand better the meaning of the patriotic spirit.
