The 16th Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair (CCCIF) is held at the Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Centre from 30 October to 2 November 2025. The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from its Portuguese acronym) has set up the “Cultural Macao ‧ Macao Pavilion” at the event to showcase Macao’s unique cultural heritage, intangible cultural heritage preservation, cultural events and performances, and cultural creativity.

The “Cultural Macao ‧ Macao Pavilion” covers an area of approximately 200 square metres. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the inscription of the Historic Centre of Macao on the World Heritage List, the Pavilion offers a comprehensive display of Macao’s diverse and fascinating cultural heritage. The Pavilion features a “Virtual Tour to Historic Centre of Macao”, allowing visitors to explore Macao’s World Heritage sites through interactive touchscreens and audio guides. Intangible cultural heritage demonstrations and performances will also be held daily, including the manufacture of incense sticks, Macanese Gastronomy - Confection of the Alua and Portuguese folk dance. Complemented with iconic cultural performances and innovative works from the cultural and creative industries, the Pavilion aims to promote the city’s distinctive cultural landscape and urban character.

The opening ceremony of the “Cultural Macao ‧ Macao Pavilion” was held today (30 October), and was officiated by the Head of Department for Promoting Cultural and Creative Industries of the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, Ho Hong Pan; the Vice President of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Su Ke; and the Deputy Chief of Division of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Fujian Province, Yan Haiqing.
