On 28 May 2025, the Radio Service Frequency Coordination Meeting between the Mainland and Macao 2025 was held between the delegation of Mainland radio service frequency coordination, led by Mr. Xu Bo, Deputy Director-General of Bureau of Radio Regulation, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Ms. Lau Wai Meng, Director of CTT with relevant personnel.

During the meeting, the representatives from both parties shared the utilization of frequency of public mobile telecommunications and channels of television and sound broadcasting, as well as thoroughly discussed the coordination of television and sound broadcasting frequencies and the coverage of public mobile telecommunications signals.

This meeting helped to promote exchanges between the radio regulation departments of the Mainland and Macao, enhance the understanding of both sides on the planning and utilization of radio service frequency, and thus improve the efficiency of frequency allocation and coordination between the Mainland and Macao. In addition, consensus was reached on the monitoring technical indicators and testing mechanisms of public mobile telecommunications signals among the two regions, aiming to continuously optimize the quality of both public mobile telecommunications services. This meeting was attended by leaders and personnel from various departments, namely the Bureau of Radio Regulation of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Radio and Television Administration, the State Radio Monitoring Center, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province, the Radio and Television Administration of Guangdong Province, the Zhuhai Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau, and the Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau, among others.
