Macao recorded over 21,000 visitor arrivals yesterday (25 August), which marks a rebound of single-day record to 20,000 since the city confirmed four new COVID-19 cases on 3 August and further tightened its measures against the pandemic.

Via its official accounts on WeChat, Weibo, Xiaohongshu, Douyin and other means, Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) is actively promoting the information that individuals intending to cross the border between Macao and Guangdong Province are required to present valid proof of their negative result of a COVID-19 nucleic acid test issued within an extended span of seven days. The Office also steps up its efforts to spotlight Macao as a safe and quality destination through a variety of channels.
