15,552 Macao residents applied for the “Helicopter Ride Experience and Yacht Check-in Tour” under the “Stay, Dine and See Macao” project before the deadline at 6 p.m. last evening (19 April). Electronic lots were drawn at Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) at 3 p.m. today (20 April). MGTO Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes and Deputy Director Cheng Wai Tong joined hands with representatives of the Task Force comprising Macau Travel Agency Association, Association of Macao Tourist Agents and Travel Industry Council of Macau to press the button for lots casting.

15,552 applicants were each assigned a sequence number randomly by the electronic lots. Applicants numbered 1 — 756 were each given two quotas for joining the local tour, amounting to 1,512 participants in total. Applicants can check out the list of No. 1 — 1,000 applicants on MGTO’s website https://www.macaotourism.gov.mo from 7 p.m. today (20 April), while applicants numbered 1 — 756 in the list will be notified by the travel agencies concerned.

Given that the “Helicopter Ride Experience and Yacht Check-in Tour” will start this Sunday (25 April), the listed applicants are required to confirm their date of participation and names of tour participants as well as complete the tour fee payment at corresponding travel agencies between today (20 April) and 6 p.m. this Thursday (22 April). If listed applicants cannot complete the application formalities within the aforementioned period, they will be regarded as giving up their quotas and will not be included in the waiting list again. The rest of the applicants on the list will take up the quotas in order, awaiting subsequent notification from the travel agencies concerned.

From April to June, the “Helicopter Ride Experience and Yacht Check-in Tour” will take place every weekend and on public holidays, departing at three time slots (14:00/14:45/15:00). The participants must be aged between 4 – 80. For safety concerns, residents who are pregnant at 32 weeks or above are not allowed to join this tour. Participants can refer to the tour leaflet for the terms and conditions about tour participation. Every helicopter can accommodate up to 12 passengers. Participants will be assigned seats designated by helicopter staff upon arrival. In case of adverse weather conditions, applicants who have signed up for the tour are advised to stay tuned to the latest activity arrangements.
