Assistant Commissioner Ng Sou Peng of Public Security Police Force (PSP) assumed office as Deputy Commissioner on 2 December.  The inauguration ceremony, which was held at the PSP Headquarters in the afternoon, was officiated by Commissioner Ng Kam Wa and witnessed by heads and persons-in charge of various departments.

After completing the 2nd Senior Police Officer Training Programme organized by the Academy of Public Security Forces in 1996, Deputy Commissioner Ng Sou Peng served as division head of the Immigration Department.  In addition, she held various positions including Head of the Immigration Department and the Operations Department, the consultant at the Office of the Secretary for Security, Head of the General Services Department of the Academy of Public Security Forces and the Traffic Department of our Force.  She has served as Acting Deputy Commissioner of PSP since 9 June this year.

With her extensive policing experience and professional knowledge, Deputy Commissioner Ng Sou Peng has served the Force conscientiously over the years. She has been promoted and awarded commendations repeatedly for her outstanding work performance and excellent leadership.
