Today the CCAC announces the ranking list of the knowledge exam (written exam) for admission into the 11th Training Programme for Entry to the Post of Investigator, which is available on the CCAC’s website and the 14th floor of “Dynasty Plaza”.
The exam took place on 20th September. Of the 5,030 candidates admitted to the exam, 2,850 have attended. 160 candidates have scored higher than or equal to 50 points and thus they are admitted to the next stage of the recruitment process – fitness test, team spirit test and interview. Meanwhile, 2,180 candidates did not take the exam, including four candidates who did not bring their identification documents or registration receipts and one who missed the exam due to high body temperature. The attendance rate reached 56.7%. The CCAC sent 200 workers to invigilate the exam. Six secondary schools provided exam venues and sent 262 teachers to assist in the invigilation.
In addition, the CCAC received four complaints over the closing time of the exam venues. The Commissioner Against Corruption subsequently ordered an investigation by viewing the CCTV footage of the entrances and relevant documents. Following the investigation, the CCAC found that the complaints did not tally with the facts shown by the evidence and therefore declared the complaints were groundless. The CCAC stressed that it was candidates’ responsibility to understand and abide by the rules indicated in the notes for candidates, including the time and place for every stage of the recruitment. The relevant decisions will be notified to the complainants.
The open recruitment is for the purpose of filling 15 vacancies for investigators in the Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Ombudsman Bureau of the CCAC.
