Typhoon Saudel turns to move westwards gradually. It is forecasted that Saudel will come closest to Macao tonight at a distance of about 450km from Macao.
At the same time, Macao is currently under the influence of the northeast monsoon, the wind speed will remain strong and Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 3 will still be effective tonight. It is expected Saudel starts moving away from Macao in the early morning. Its threats to Macao will gradually diminish tomorrow.
The east to northeasterly winds will remain strong with gusts in the next two days. The temperature will slightly fall and a few light rain patches are expected. Slight flooding will occur in the Inner Harbour area from 11 pm to 3 am due to the astronomical tide. The public is advised to pay attention to the change in weather and the latest information from SMG.
