The Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) launched a revamped website, along with a mobile version, of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area today (30 Sept), in a bid to provide the public with faster and more convenient access to statistical data on the Greater Bay Area. The website is refreshed with a brand new look, featuring principal statistical indicators of the Greater Bay Area cities as well as data on cultural and economic exchanges between Macao and those cities.

The new website has a more vibrant design with enriched content. In addition to the previously available content, more basic information on the Greater Bay Area cities has been added. Moreover, interactive statistical charts and tables are incorporated to illustrate changes in principal indicators over time; comparisons of data on different cities can also be made to help users better understand the situation of the cities. Statistics on the website are compiled based on the information from the statistical authorities in the Greater Bay Area.

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area statistical website was first introduced by DSEC in 2018, which provides statistical data on the nine Guangdong cities (Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing), as well as the Hong Kong SAR and the Macao SAR, in the Greater Bay Area. The website, which is available in traditional and simplified Chinese, Portuguese and English, can be accessed through the DSEC website ( www.dsec.gov.mo ) or directly at www.dsec.gov.mo/BayArea.
