Several museums under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), will resume public guided tours and group guided tours from 1 August (Saturday). These museum spaces include the Macao Museum, the Macao Museum of Art, the Taipa Houses, the Museum of Taipa and Coloane History, and the Xian Xinghai Memorial Museum, while the Handover Gifts Museum of Macao will provide group guided tours only. In order to cooperate with the epidemic prevention measures, the number of participants in the guided tours will be limited.

The number of participants in the public guided tours will be limited to 10, while the group guided tours will be limited to 15 or 20 participants. The schedule for public guided tours and the booking method for group guided tours remain unchanged (for more information, please refer to the table below). IC has strengthened the cleaning and disinfection in all facilities, all participants in the guided tours must wear their own face masks, undergo temperature checks, and present a “Macao Health Code” of the day, as well as comply with the crowd control measures on-site.

IC will continue to closely monitor the progress of the pandemic and follow the relevant guidelines of the Health Bureau. For more information, please visit IC’s website at www.icm.gov.mo or contact IC through tel. no. 8988 4000 during office hours.
