According to the statistics and industry classification of approved applications in 2018, the industries involved mainly include: Education (44%) and financial services (16%) .

In addition, according to the statistics of temporary residency for approved investors, managements and technical personnel in 2018, IPIM received a total of 11 new residence applications based on “major investment” and a total of 232 new applications based on “management and technical personnel”.

Among the cases handled in 2018 (include the applications which were received in previous years), 2 applications under the category of “major investment” were approved while 10 were disapproved/cancelled;, 25 applications under the category of “management and technical personnel” were approved and 128 were disapproved/cancelled.
