Beneficiaries currently receiving old-age or disability pension from the Social Security Fund (abbreviated to FSS in Macao) are required to provide proof of life in January each year.  In order to facilitate beneficiaries living at the Praia do Manduco District, the FSS today set up a service counter for handling proof of life at “Praia do Manduco” Centre for the Elderly (Address: Rua da Praia do Manduco, Nos. 61-63, r/c, Macau), and its service hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (with no lunch break).

Beneficiaries of old-age pension and disability pension only need to bring their valid Macao SAR Resident ID Cards with them to provide proof of life at a service location.  Apart from the newly added “Praia do Manduco” Centre for the Elderly, residents of various districts can also go to Macau Holy House of Mercy Albergue, Areia Preta Service Centre of the Macao SAR, Central and Southern District (Patane) Social Service Centre, Northwest District (Ilha Verde) Social Service Centre, Northern District (Tamagnini Barbosa) Social Service Centre, Outlying Office or Seac Pai Van Office of the Housing Bureau for providing proof of life.

In addition, beneficiaries can also provide proof of life at the self-service machines set up at more than 40 locations across Macao using their valid Macao SAR Resident ID Cards.
