The Chief Executive, Mr Chui Sai On, is to visit Beijing for the first plenary meeting of the leading group for the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Mr Chui will attend the meeting, to be held on 15 August, as a member of the leading group formed by the Central Government.
Those accompanying the Chief Executive on his Beijing visit – which will run from 14 to 17 August – will include the Chief-of-Office of the Chief Executive’s Office, Ms O Lam.
While Mr Chui is away from Macao, the Secretary for Administration and Justice, Ms Chan Hoi Fan; the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, Mr Tam Chon Weng; and the Secretary for Transport and Public Works, Mr Raimundo do Rosário, will respectively – by turns – be acting Chief Executive.
