Due to equipment failure, the screening of the film “Rashomon” at Cinematheque‧Passion on the evening of the 9th of December within the programme of the 2nd International Film Festival and Awards‧Macao could not proceed as scheduled.  Cinematheque‧ Passion immediately arranged for emergency repairs.

After repairment, the equipment was restored in the early morning of the 10th of December.  The IFFAM Organizing Committee announces that all public screenings at Cinematheque‧Passion will resume as scheduled, and the new screening schedule of the film "Rashomon" will be announced at a later time.

Among the affected viewers last night (9 Dec), a few have chosen to switch to other films in the IFFAM programme lineup, which was handled immediately.  For those who would still prefer to watch the film at a rescheduled time slot after repairs are done, on-site staff have registered their contact information so as to notify them once a new screening is arranged.

The IFFAM Organising Committee apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the incident.
