The Government has launched a website for the Urban Renewal Committee, to share more information with the public regarding the Committee’s work.

The Secretary for Transport and Public Works, Mr Raimundo do Rosário, mentioned the website on Friday (8 April) following the second meeting of the Urban Renewal Committee. Mr Rosário is the Chairman of the Committee.

The Secretary said he encouraged all public bodies under his portfolio to increase the amount of information they share online with the public.

Friday’s meeting of the Urban Renewal Committee discussed internal rules, near-term work arrangements, and was given a presentation on the work done by a preceding consultative committee regarding urban renewal of Macao's older districts, said Mr Rosário.

The website of the Urban Renewal Committee (http://www.cru.gov.mo/zh/news.php) is available in Macao’s two official languages – Chinese and Portuguese.
