All the five patients in isolated wards were recovering, according to a press release by Health Bureau.
The five patients included three Chinese men, aged 77, 52 and 54, a 42-year-old Australian man and a 38-year-old saleswoman.
Health Bureau announced the body temperature of the five patients had continued to be normal and results of X-ray and blood tests had also came out normal.
On the other hand, over 50,000 people had gone through infrared thermal body temperature screening at five checkpoints in the 24 hours prior to 16:00 today, respectively 43,004 at the Border Gate, 7,731 at the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, 307 at the Macao International Airport, 935 at the Lotus Bridge Checkpoint and 262 at the Ká-Hó Port, Coloane (7:00 to 10:00 today).
During this period, doctors in the consultation posts at the checkpoints had answered 11 inquiries and 1 of which were sent to hospital for consultation. Meanwhile, 11 patients had been directed to the special emergency room in the Conde S. Januario Hospital, though none of them were sent to the isolation ward.
