President Jiang Zemin ended his three-day visit to the SAR

President Jiang Zemin departed for Beijing Today (December 21) after his three-day visit to the Macau SAR.

During the last day of his visit in Macau, President Jiang received Mainland Chinese officials posted in the SAR, principal officials of the SAR Government and local community leaders.

Later in the morning, President Jiang visited the Hac Sa (Black Sand) Beach in the Coloane Island and the House Museum in the Taipa Island.

"Macau is Beautiful" said president Jiang when being asked by journalists about his impression in Macau.

President Jiang also visited the Macau Branch of the Bank of China.

During his visit in the SAR, the President attended the Celebration Dinner and Ceremony marking the 1st Anniversary of the Macau SAR.

The President also visited a local secondary school and tourist spots, including Ruins of St. Paul's Church, the Monte Fort (Fortress Hill) and the Macau Museum.
