President Jiang took the Celebration Ceremony to an emotional epilog by leading performers and guests in a chorus of "Ge Chang Zu Guo" (Sing the Praise of My Motherland).

President Jiang Zemin made a request to the violist Wang Jian for a performance of the Chinese Classic "Er Quan Ying Yue" today (December 20) when coming to stage to greet the performers at the Celebration Ceremony for the first anniversary of the establishment of Macau SAR. He then invited Vice- Premier Qian Qichen and Mr. Liao Hui, Director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs office, State Council, to join him singing "Hong Hu Shui Lang Da Lang" (Waves of the Hung Lake).

At last, President Jiang led the performers and guests in singing the song "Ge Chang Zu Guo", taking the ceremony to an emotional epilog.
