The “2025 Macao International Parade”, in celebration of the 26th anniversary of Macao’s return to the motherland, has been hailed a great success. Let’s savour every dazzling memory from this grand event.

As a key brand event of Macao and a major fixture in the city’s annual calendar of festivities, the Macao International Parade marked its 11th edition this year.

Amid Macao's designation as a “Culture City of East Asia 2025”, this year's Parade involved nearly 1,800 performers drawn from local groups, as well as from other regions and countries, including other places designated “Culture Cities of East Asia 2025”.

The Parade procession began from the Ruins of St. Paul’s, passing along old streets and plazas in the Historic Centre of Macao, including Largo de S. Domingos. Pictured: onlookers get some closeup interaction with the performers.

Laughter and joy fill the air along the Parade route, generating a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere.

Performers entertain onlookers, ensuring adults as well as children have a good time.

Groups of artists perform at Senado Square, showcasing the unique cultural characteristics of their presentations.

The Parade teams bring their dynamic dance steps to the Avenida Panorâmica do Lago Nam Van, sparking excitement among onlookers there.

The opening ceremony of the “Culture City of East Asia 2025 – Macao, China” programme is seen here at Sai Van Lake Square. It was also the location for the finale of the “2025 Macao International Parade”. Altogether, it meant a joyous and lively start for Macao’s “Culture City of East Asia 2025” status, thanks to the Parade’s spectacle of cultural diversity.
