  • The 1st Macao International Children’s Arts Festival takes place in Macao during July and August. The festival features world-class performing arts productions, a Broadway musical, an art exhibition, a film festival, large outdoor installations, art camps, masterclasses, workshops, and an art carnival, altogether representing a total of 45 projects and over 1,000 sessions.

  • Through a diverse range of activities for the young, the festival aims to illuminate their childhood with cultural and artistic experiences. It particularly encourages parents to accompany their children and engage in close-range, multi-perspective, and multi-sensory interactions with art, and in some cases with performers.

  • The Macao International Children’s Arts Festival offers for three sessions a pioneering two-day, one-night Family Art Camp. Children and parents have the opportunity to stay together overnight at the Macao Cultural Centre, experiencing life in an arts-infused atmosphere.

  • During the overnight Family Art Camp, children can take part in interactive workshops to experience the limitless joy of art.

  • Children can let their imagination run wild as they combine artistic pursuits with everyday life. Getting them involved in crafts can also spark their interest in fine arts and culture, expand their aesthetic horizons, and foster innovative thinking.

  • The Macao International Children’s Arts Festival invites everyone to embrace the arts, so that all can create an environment filled with creativity and imagination!

  • Children bask in sunlight, while unleashing their imagination and painting a vibrant and colourful summer scene.

  • The Children’s Fun Book House combines elements of a summer carnival. It showcases over 200 exquisite picture books, books for teenagers, colouring books, educational materials, and other related cultural and creative products, originating from more than 10 countries and regions.

  • The Children's Fun Book House also offers a range of diverse and enriching arts workshops. Families can take part at no charge.

  • The Macao International Children’s Arts Festival is a brand-new themed arts festival in Macao, aiming to create the foundations for children’s artistic creativity, and supporting the development of Macao as a “City of Performing Arts”.
