The Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) was informed by the Consulate General of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in Hong Kong that holders of the Macao SAR Passports with a passport of at least 6 months validity and 2 recent photos can obtain visa-on-arrival at any designated international port of entry in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic for a stay not exceeding 30 days.

At present, a total of 87 countries and territories have agreed to grant visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to the Macao SAR passport holders, while 9 countries have agreed to grant the visa-free access to the Macao SAR Travel Permit holders.
