Authorities from Mainland and Macao security forces are going to discuss further cooperation and law enforcement this month in Beijing.
The Macao delegation, headed by the Secretary for Security, Cheong Kouc Va, is to leave for Beijing on 27 May to attend the fifth meeting with Mainland authorities, scheduled to be held between 28 and 31of May.
The two delegations will review the work performed since the last meeting, analyze updated reports on public order from both sides, discuss the reinforcement of cooperation and promote technical and professional exchange.
The Macao delegation will address issues such as the effects of the gaming industry liberalization on social order, the fight against money laundering, terrorism and cross border crime.
The Macao representatives will also visit government departments in Chong Qing in order to reinforce further cooperation.
The previous meeting between authorities from the Mainland and Macao security forces took place last December in Macao.
