The 15th National Games are now in full swing, with intense competitions taking place across the Macao Competition Zone. The Macao karate team got off to a flying start, achieving an outstanding result of three gold and two bronze medals.

This remarkable performance by the Macao karate team has set a new benchmark in Macao’s sporting history, a testament to the athletes’ relentless training and pursuit of excellence.

All table tennis events of the 15th National Games are being held at Galaxy Arena. Macao athletes are among those fiercely competing for success.

Table tennis matches have been closely contested, captivating audiences and generating an electrifying atmosphere in the venue.

The Basketball (Men's Under-18 Category) games are being staged at Studio City Event Center and Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion. On the courts, athletes are giving their all, striving hard to score and gain the upper hand.

The location for the 3x3 Basketball events is the Wynn Palace outdoor lawn. Teams have demonstrated a battling spirit, earning enthusiastic cheers and applause from spectators.

The Road Cycling (Men's Individual Race) spanned Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, utilising the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge as a key part of its route. The event traversed urban roads in Zhuhai, Macao, Hong Kong and the Guangdong-Macao Intensive Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. The route ran in total for 231.8 kilometres, a new record in the history of the National Games.

During that road cycling contest, athletes successfully completed six seamless, swift, boundary crossings. It marked the first boundary-traversing event in the history of the National Games, and highlights the advantages of organisational collaboration between Guangdong Province, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR), and the Macao SAR.

The Volleyball (Adult Women) competitions are being held at the Macao East Asian Games Dome and Cotai Arena. Players from the Macao women's volleyball team are sternly tested by their opponents, with the latter having an absolute advantage in height.

The 15th National Games are being held until 21 November 2025. Macao athletes have been eagerly anticipating the chance to showcase their skills, step up their effort, and display new levels of passion and vitality over the period of the Games.
