    Civil Protection Newsflash: As the water level has not continued to rise, CEM will not implement the next round of power suspension.We thank all residents for their understanding, patience, and cooperation. CEM will arrange for power restoration as soon as possible after the Typhoon Signal No. 8 is lowered and the water recedes.     Civil Protection Newsflash: As of 12h00 on 2025/09/24, the Civil Protection Operations Centre has recorded as a total of 84 incident report(s) in Macao and the Islands which including,1. Buildings/lamp posts/trees that are on the verge of collapse/have collapsed: 17case(s);2. Concrete, signboards, windows, canopies, or other objects fallen or swinging: 53 case(s);3. Scaffolding, scales or other construction facilities fallen or swinging: 4 case(s);4. Passenger trapped in a lift: 2 case(s);5. Power outage/water outage/mobile network outage: 1 case(s);6. Fire: 7 case(s);7.Number of persons injured due to the typhoon: 1 (from the data of the Health Bureau and Kiang Wu Hospital);

    Civil protection information: Power suspension has been imposed in certain flooded areas
    Civil protection information: According to the information from the Environmental Protection Bureau, as water level above land has reached 1-1.5 m, therefore, CEM has implemented power suspension to the flood-affected areas to ensure public safety and to protect power supply facilities. When the water recedes, power restoration will be arranged as soon as possible. Please stay alert, prepare well, and continue to follow the news released by the Civil Protection Operations Centre and CEM.

    CP Info: CEM to Implement Temporary Power Suspension in the Following Areas
    Due to the impact of Super Typhoon "Ragasa”, and to ensure public safety and protect power supply facilities, the Macau Electricity Company (CEM) will soon implement a temporary power suspension in low-lying areas. Affected areas primarily include: Inner Harbour, Praça de Ponte e Horta, A-Ma Temple, Rua da Praia do Manduco and Patane. The Civil Protection Operations Centre advises residents and tourists in these areas not to panic. CEM will endeavour to restore power supply as soon as possible after floodwaters recede.
