    Civil Protection Newsflash: According to the information of the Civil Aviation Authority, the flight operations at the Macau International Airport on 23 September 2025 are as follows: 75 cancellations, 2 delay and 4 rescheduling.Due to the impact of the typhoon, 128 flights on 24 September 2025 have been cancelled, the Authority strongly urges that passengers must check their new flight schedules with their respective airlines or through www.macau-airport.com or the hotline at +853 28861111 before heading to the airport.

    CP Info: Water Supply Service Remain Normal Residents in Low-lying and High-rises Buildings Advised to Store Water
    Civil Protection Newsflash: Typhoon signal no.8NW is hoisted and the Red storm surge warning is now in effect. As severe flooding may occur in low-lying areas, and power supply suspension might be implemented in some areas, Macao Water advises the management entities of high-rise buildings in related areas to fill their buildings' potable water storage tanks before any potential power outage. Residents are also reminded to store an adequate amount of water in advance for drinking and daily sanitary needs.Currently, all water treatment plants and the water supply network across Macao are operating normally.Macao Water has implemented corresponding typhoon and flood prevention measures. Staff are stationed at all water production plants to strive for maintain the normal operation of all production and water supply facilities during the typhoon, ensuring the water supply service remains safe and stable.We will maintain a 24-hour watch over all the water treatment plants and inform the public with up-to-date information in a timely manner.     Civil protection information: As the “Red Storm Surge warning” has been issued, power supply may be suspended
    Civil protection information: According to the information from the Environmental Protection Bureau, the Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau has issued “Red Storm Surge Warning”, the typhoon may cause severe flooding in low-lying areas. CEM has issued an alert for possible suspension of power supply. Citizens can visit CEM’s website to check areas or streets that may be affected by power suspension. Please prepare well and continue to follow the news released by the Civil Protection Operations Centre and CEM.

    CP Info: “Red Storm Surge Warning” effective at 6:00 PM: power suspension may be implemented
    Civil Protection Newsflash: Current power status: power supply across Macau remains normalAccording to the “Red Storm Surge Warning” issued by SMG, severe flooding may occur in low-lying areas. To prevent damage to power facilities and avoid dangerous situations such as electric leakage caused by flooding, as well as to ensure public safety and expedite power restoration after the storm, CEM has an emergency mechanism in place. Depending on the actual flooding situation caused by the storm surge, power supply may be temporarily suspended in the following areas: Ilha Verde, Border Gate, Tói Sán, Iao Hon, Areia Preta, Fai Chi Kei, Red Market, Lam Mau Tong, Patane, San Kio, Rotunda de Carlos da Maia, Inner Harbour, Praça de Ponte e Horta, Praia do Manduco, Barra, Avenida do Infante D. Henrique, Praça de Ferreira do Amaral, NAPE, Avenida da Amizade and nearshore regions. Citizens please stay alert.Citizens can check the affected areas and streets for each storm surge warning level on the CEM website.CEM will continue to monitor the situation closely.
